Terms and Conditions

By using the Jarvis 3DP website and placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. They are written under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the E-Commerce Law and the Consumer Protection Law. If you disagree with any part, please do not place an order.

Definitions

In these terms:

  • "User" or "customer": anyone who signs up, orders or uses the tools.
  • "Printed product": a physical 3D-printed item made after the order is placed, from a marketplace model, a tool result or a custom design.
  • "Marketplace model": a 3D model listed in the marketplace, designed by a third party or by the Store.
  • "Tools": the online tools that turn photos, maps or ideas into 3D models.
  • "JP coin": in-site credit that can only be spent on the tools.
  • "Custom request": a special design or print request that our staff quote.
  • "Digital file": a 3D model file sold separately for some products.

Your account

  • You sign up with an email address and confirm it through the link we send. The details you give (name, email, phone, address) must be true and complete.
  • To order a physical product your account must hold a full address and a 10-digit postal code.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us at once if you suspect misuse. Passwords can be reset by email.
  • You must be 18 or older to buy; minors may buy only with the knowledge and responsibility of a parent or guardian.
  • Roles and permissions (for example access to some tools or features) are set by the Store administrator and can differ per user.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Financial obligations on orders already placed remain as described here.

How ordering works

You can order in three ways:

  • Marketplace product: pick a model, choose options (if any) and add it to the cart. Each printed product is made for you after you order.
  • Print a tool result: the result goes to your cart as "awaiting quote" until our staff price it by size, material and quantity. You are notified and may then pay or decline.
  • Custom request: send your description and files; our staff reply with a price and delivery time, and work starts only after you approve.

An order is final once payment succeeds, and enters the production queue. You can follow it under "My orders", and key events are emailed to you. The print provider is currently Jarvis 3DP itself.

If production meets a problem (for example a model that cannot be printed) or material is unavailable, we contact you before going on and, if needed, refund what you paid in full.

Pricing and VAT

  • Prices are shown in toman. Where a US dollar price is shown it is for information only; payment is in toman.
  • 10% value-added tax is added to the goods price and shown separately at checkout.
  • Shipping is not part of the goods price and VAT is not charged on it. See "Shipping" below.
  • The final amount is shown before you are sent to the bank gateway. Prices may change, but never for an order whose payment has succeeded.
  • If an obvious system error shows a wrong price (for example zero or far below cost), we may cancel that order and refund it in full.

Payment

There are two separate kinds of payment:

  • Physical purchases (marketplace products, printing a tool result, custom orders): paid only online in toman through a licensed Iranian bank payment gateway. Coins cannot be used.
  • JP coins: credit you buy through the bank gateway and spend only on the tools.
  • You enter your card details only on the bank's own gateway page. Jarvis 3DP never sees or stores your card number, second password or CVV2.
  • If money left your account but the payment was not confirmed on the site, the banking network returns it within 72 working hours at most. If it does not, contact us with the transaction reference.
  • After a successful payment you return to the site, where your order or coin wallet is updated.

Production and delivery time

  • Every printed product is made after the order and payment, not taken from stock. Production time is needed before shipping.
  • The estimated time is shown on the product page or when we quote, and is usually a few working days depending on size, material, quantity and queue. Custom requests have their own timing.
  • Times are estimates. If a significant delay occurs we tell you.
  • 3D printing naturally has small variations: visible layer lines, slight colour differences from photos and dimensional tolerance of a few tenths of a millimetre are normal and not defects. Photos and the viewer are indicative.

Shipping

  • Tehran: delivery by courier. The customer pays the courier fee directly to the courier on delivery (cash on delivery of the fee). It is not part of the online payment.
  • Other cities: Iran Post Pishtaz. The fee depends on parcel weight and destination province, is shown at checkout before payment and is added to the order.
  • We ship only to the address saved in your account with a 10-digit postal code. The customer is responsible for a correct address, postal code and phone number; re-shipping because of a wrong address is charged.
  • After dispatch you receive the postal tracking code or the courier details.
  • Check the parcel in front of the courier or postal clerk. If it is visibly damaged, note it on the spot and take photos.

More detail is on the "Returns, refunds and shipping" page.

Withdrawal, returns and refunds

Under Iran's E-Commerce Law (including Articles 37 and 38), a consumer in a distance sale may withdraw within seven working days of receiving the goods. For our store this applies as follows:

  • Made-to-order exception: the law and the executive regulation of Articles 38 and 42 of the E-Commerce Law exclude goods made to the consumer's own specification from the right of withdrawal. All our printed products are printed after ordering and for that order (including custom prints, prints of tool results in your chosen size and material, and personalised designs), so once production has started a no-reason return is not possible.
  • Before production starts: if making has not begun you can cancel by contacting us and the amount paid is refunded.
  • Defect or damage in transit: if the item is broken, incomplete, different from the order or has a manufacturing defect, we reprint or replace it at no cost to you. Report within 72 hours of delivery with photos and, ideally, a video of opening the parcel. If a replacement is not possible, the goods price is refunded.
  • Digital files: a model file cannot be returned once downloaded or its link has been sent. If the file is faulty or will not open we fix it or refund it.
  • Refunds: an approved refund is paid within 10 working days at most to the bank account or card the payment came from. The original shipping fee is refunded when the fault is ours (defect or mismatch).
  • Return shipping for a no-reason withdrawal is paid by the consumer; if the fault is ours we pay it.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. Practical steps are on the "Returns, refunds and shipping" page.

JP coins and tool use

  • JP coins are spent only on the tools; they cannot pay for physical products, files or custom orders.
  • Coins are bought through the bank gateway. They are not cash or a bank deposit, cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for money, and earn no interest.
  • Coins spent on a tool run are not returned once processing has started successfully, because compute cost has been incurred. If a run fails because of a system error, the coins for that run are returned.
  • Unused purchased coins can be refunded on written request when there is no abuse, minus the gateway cost.
  • Tool outputs are not downloadable by ordinary users; Jarvis 3DP prints them for you. The administrator may enable download for certain users.
  • Abuse of the tools (mass automated runs, bypassing limits, unauthorised output extraction) may lead to account suspension and loss of coins.

Intellectual property and your files

  • Marketplace models belong to their designers and are offered with their permission or under the licence stated (for example Creative Commons). Each model shows its creator. Buying a print or a file does not transfer the intellectual property in the model.
  • When you upload a file or image for a custom request or a tool, you state that you own it or have the right to use and print it, and that it does not infringe others' rights (copyright, trade marks, image rights, privacy).
  • The uploader is responsible for any third-party claim. We may refuse or cancel such an order.
  • You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your files only to fulfil that order (design, slicing, printing). Your files are not used for advertising or sold to others.
  • Site elements (logo, texts, images, software) belong to the Store; republishing them without permission is prohibited. If we have listed your work without permission, tell us through the contact page and we will act quickly.

Prohibited content

Ordering, uploading or requesting the following is forbidden. Such orders are cancelled without compensation and, where needed, reported to the authorities:

  • Firearms, bladed weapons, weapon parts, or parts used to build weapons, explosives or dangerous devices.
  • Tools for fraud or intrusion, such as card skimmers and lock-defeating tools.
  • Content contrary to Islamic or public decency, obscene content, and content relating to narcotics.
  • Unauthorised copies of works or trade marks, counterfeits or other people's brands.
  • Anything whose making or purchase is a crime under Iranian law or that harms people or property.
  • Unauthorised access, damaging the system, mass scraping, or bypassing technical and access limits.

Limitation of liability

  • Printed products are made of engineering plastics and suit home, decorative and prototyping use. Load-bearing, medical, food-contact, safety-critical or high-temperature use is at the user's own risk and only with our written approval.
  • Toys and small parts are not suitable for children under 3.
  • Our liability is in any case limited to the amount of the order concerned and excludes indirect loss, lost profit or damage from misuse, except where the law requires otherwise.
  • We are not liable for delay caused by events beyond our control, such as power or internet outages, natural events, bank gateway or postal network disruption, but we will inform and follow up.
  • We aim for the site to be always available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or faults.

Disputes and governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
  • If you have a dispute, raise it first through the contact page or the support section of your account; we answer within 7 working days and try to settle it amicably.
  • If it is not resolved, you may complain to the Consumer and Producer Protection Organisation (hotline 124) or go to the competent courts at the Store's place of business.

Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page with its "last updated" date and applies to orders placed after it.
  • Important changes are announced by email or on the site. Orders placed before a change are fulfilled under the terms in force when they were placed.
  • Continuing to use the site after a new version is published means you accept it.
