Make a custom drawer organizer
The Jarvis 3DP organizer maker builds a custom insert for a drawer, shelf or toolbox from its inner size and the items you store. Compartments are laid out to fit your items, the result is shown in 3D, and the export is ready for 3D printing.
What is a custom drawer organizer?
Ready-made dividers rarely match the size of your drawer, and your items rattle around in them. A 3D printed organizer is made for the exact size of your drawer and what you keep in it, so everything stays in place, from workshop tools and kitchenware to stationery and electronics parts.
How the organizer maker works
The steps are simple:
- Enter the inner size of the drawer, shelf or box.
- List the items that go in it.
- The tool lays out compartments that fit the items and the space, and shows a 3D preview.
- Print the insert in one piece or in sections.
The 3D preview lets you check the layout is what you want before you print.
Material and size
Organizers are usually printed in PLA or PETG, and PLA is enough for indoor use. If your drawer is larger than your printer’s bed, print the insert in sections and place them side by side.
For heavy items such as metal tools, choose thicker walls and use PETG or a tougher filament.
Who is it for?
It is for people with messy drawers and toolboxes, workshop and shop owners, home and kitchen organising fans, and anyone who wants to make better use of limited space with a precise insert.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a custom drawer organizer?
Enter the drawer’s inner size and the list of items in the tool, check the layout in the 3D preview and print the insert.
Where does it work?
In drawers, on shelves and in toolboxes: anywhere you know the inner size and want items held in tidy compartments.
What if my drawer is larger than my printer’s bed?
Print the insert in sections. The parts sit side by side and cover the whole drawer.
Which filament should I use?
PLA is enough for light items. For heavier items or drawers under load, PETG is tougher.
What if I do not have a printer?
Send the export through the custom request form and we will give you a price and a print time.
